Ooh- we LOVE the Home Depot Kids Workshop. We discovered it a few months ago and attend faithfully each month. It's for kids ages 5-12 and it's the first Saturday of every month--each month the kids get to do a different project. They have their own little apron (in a beautiful shade of Home-Depot-Orange) and for every project they complete they receive a certificate and a pin for their apron. The best part (brace yourselves)... it's FREE. I know, right?
I was attempting to help Jackson build his awesome race car when luckily for him, Grandpa Cliff showed up. Jackson didn't want to hurt my feelings but he was quite relieved to see Grandpa!
I love this picture of Aspen reading the instructions-- she probably understood it better than I did!
Way to go, Aspen!

Man, where was that idea when Brad and Chris were 5-12??? That looks like a lot of fun. Jared is doing a good job at looking interested in the instructions....come on Jared, we all know guys don't read instructions, but you should get an "A" for effort.
Isn't it wonderful to have the grandparents living so close now? I saw Aspen w/Grandma Shauna visiting Great-Grandma Mary yesterday, and she was coughing and still sounded SO sick! I was thrilled to hand Cliff the instructions for setting Mom's new watch, and then scooted :)
