The grown-ups (yes, I AM considered one of the grown-ups) don't get to do the money jar. Except one year my mom had a contest on Thanksgiving with all the grown-ups and the person who pulled out the most money got to keep their haul. Of course I won! I pulled a whopping $26 or something like that! Awesome. (Note to mom: Let's try that again this year.)

i can't believe you have two nine year olds! i love the money trick...stuff like that always makes me wish we had some cool family traditions.
Forget about the 9 year olds!!! I say that money jar thing is a pretty snazzy idea. I think your mom should invite me over the next time she lets adults play the game. I have very large hands so I am pretty sure I could beat you. Ha, ha!
As for the 9 year olds....they are so darling. I love birthdays!
You are the coolest mom ever, let me tell you why. If I had twins I would con them into having ONE party together. One party is exhausting and so much work, and you had two! You are my hero.
Jackson's birthday party photos are absolutely darling! Looks like they had as much fun as the girls at our house!
