Steel Days

As part of the American Fork Steel Days celebrations they have a children's bike parade. This year Aspen, Jackson, and Ryan rode their scooters in the parade. Check out these AWESOME hats Jaime helped the kids make. We taped them to their helmets so they could wear them during the bike parade. All of the other moms kept asking where we got their neat hats. Yeah... it rocks when you're the cool mom! Thanks Jaime!
After crossing the finish line the kids got a popsicle, a carnival ticket, and were also entered in to a drawing to win a new scooter. They didn't win one of the scooters but didn't care at all... they had a blast! After the bike parade we stayed at the park because they had an awesome activity night with games, rides, a rock-climbing wall, bounce houses, etc. and it was all FREE. They even got prizes from each of the games they played... did I mention it was all FREE?!? Even though we were extremely tired and got home really late it was totally and completely worth it!
